The short version

This website has no analytics, no cookies, no tracking and no advertising. Nothing is recorded about your visit.

There is exactly one thing it collects, and only if you type it in: your email address, when you join a waitlist. This page is about that.

What is collected, and why

When you join a waitlist, three things are recorded:

• Your email address, so I can write to you once.
• The moment you pressed the button, and the IP address you pressed it from. Not to identify you — to be able to show that you asked to be added, if I am ever required to.
• Which list you chose. The lists are separate on purpose: joining Chamba’s does not put you on Relato’s.

Nothing else. No name is asked for, and nothing is inferred about you.

The legal basis is your consent, given by typing your address and pressing the button. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so is not made difficult.

Where it is stored

With MailerLite, an email service acting as my processor, on servers in the European Union. Their terms state they never sell, rent or share customer data. Their privacy policy is here.

I do not sell, rent, share or trade your address with anybody, for any reason. It is used for one thing: to tell you an app is ready.

What you will receive

One email per list, when that app is released. Not a newsletter, not a launch sequence, not “we thought you’d like”. If a list produces more than one email, something has gone wrong and you should tell me.

Getting off the list

Every email carries a working unsubscribe link. You can also write to david@delafu.dev and ask, and I will remove you the same way — no questions, no “are you sure”, no retention offer.

How long it is kept

Until the app ships and the email goes out, or until you ask to be removed — whichever comes first. A waitlist for an app that has already launched has no reason to exist, and is deleted.

Your rights

Mexico — access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO rights), and withdrawal of consent, under the LFPDPPP.

European Union and United Kingdom — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Japan — disclosure, correction, suspension of use and deletion under the APPI.

Write to david@delafu.dev. One person reads that address, and it is me. I will respond within 30 days, usually far sooner.

International transfers

Your address is stored in the European Union by MailerLite. I am in Mexico, so reading my own list is itself a transfer, made under MailerLite’s own safeguards. No other party receives it.

This page covers the website only. Each app has its own policy, because each holds different things — and in Chamba’s case, nothing at all:

Changes

Any change appears here with the date at the bottom updated. If a change ever affects what happens to an address already on a list, I will email the people on it rather than rely on you checking this page.
