ForAdults with ADHD who have already given up on static to-do lists
A to-do app for ADHD that asks how you're doing first, then uses that to decide what makes sense to work on.
A to-do list assumes you are the same person every day. You are not.
So every list hands you the same twelve tasks whether you slept well or not, whether you have the energy or not. Slowly, it becomes a monument to everything you didn't do.
I rebuilt my system every few months. Each one worked until the first bad week. After that, it became something I avoided opening.
The same backlog gives you genuinely different suggestions depending on how you're doing that day. It matches tasks to the state you're in, not to a filter you set once and forgot.
There is no streak to break and nothing to lose because you had a bad Tuesday. The check-in has no memory of yesterday, on purpose: a system that remembers your worst week and holds it against you is a system you eventually stop opening.
How it works
The check-in
Before any list, five choices: Energized, In Flow, Meh, Drained, Anxious. Tap one — that's the whole check-in. No one-to-ten scale, no journal entry. Nothing carries over from yesterday, on purpose: the check-in has no memory, because a system that remembers your worst week and holds it against you is a system you stop opening. If you only came to look at your tasks, a small “just browsing” link takes you straight there.
If something can't wait
You see it here, and only here. Chamba interrupts once, before any suggestions, with at most two things: something whose deadline is close enough to matter, or something you marked Non-Negotiable yourself. The same three buttons are always in the same place, because this screen appears precisely when you're already behind and careful reading is the first thing to go. If the urgent thing is waiting on another task, Chamba shows you the blocker instead — the thing you can actually do right now, with the reason attached. And it never counts your snoozes against you: a running tally of failures is just a streak counter with the sign flipped.
Three to five tasks. Not twelve
Pulled from your own backlog and matched to the state you just picked. The same backlog on the same morning produces genuinely different suggestions depending on how you're doing — the part a filter can't do. Ask why and any suggestion will tell you why it is there. And the list holds still: check in the same way twice and you get the same suggestions, not a reshuffle.
One task on screen
The session shows the task you're working on: its lane, roughly how long it takes, and its first step if you wrote one. No up-next list, no counter, no timer, no “session ended” moment. Finish it and the next one appears. Walk away mid-task and it is still there when you come back — it doesn't quietly reset, and it doesn't ask where you went.
The Path — part of Pro
With Pro, the tasks you've committed to live on the Path — a line you move along, not a calendar. No clock times, no dates on individual tasks; nothing schedules your afternoon for 2:15 p.m. Finished tasks stay there as filled markers for the rest of the day, so you can see the day you actually had instead of an empty list that erases it.

- The lanes
- Urgent, Passion, Challenge, Maintenance. Fixed, and part of the logic — not just different colors.
- Storage
- On your phone. No cloud sync of any kind. Ever.
- Refuses
- Streaks, XP, achievements, clock times, calendars. The last two were built, then deleted on purpose.
